Sunflower Trail- Palo Duro Canyon

When January offers up a day of sunny,  60° weather with minimal wind, you have to take advantage. 

Julie packed up Evelyn & Luke and Heather brought Danni, and we all piled in and drove the 25 miles to Palo Duro Canyon for the afternoon. 

"Look!" Owen kept proclaiming. (Love it!)

Kaden lead some of the way with his backpack full of PBJs and pretzels, on the lookout for a sturdy picnic table.

So proud of Owen. We probably walked about 1.5 miles and he never asked to be held. LOVED being outside the entire  time.
