Cotton Bowl 2014

When dad first questioned whether Ben would enjoy watching the Tigers play OSU in the Cotton Bowl (Christmas present) I didn't know what to say.  As fun as it is to go to football games, we are getting to the point where sitting/standing in the cold/wind/snow in January isn't as enjoyable as it used to be.

When Ben looked up details about the game on the iPad and it clearly said that the game was going to be at the AT&T/Dallas Cowboys Stadium, it was a no brainer.

Jerry Jones' place really is something to behold.
As soon as you walk through the gate and enter either of the side entrances, you have a great, unobstructed view of the arena and field.
Getting to spent some quality time with my Ben Dow.

Jessica and Shannon were also able to make it to this game.
A fun bonus was that they were seated in a special VIP area with great food & adult beverages.

I had a hard time watching the game taking place down on the field with that high-definition jumbotron that stretched from 20-yard line to 20-yard line.

After a tense 4th quarter, the Tigers pull out a win over Oklahoma State with the final score 41-31.  This game also made head coach, Gary Pinkle the most winningest football coach in Missouri history.
Go Tigers!
