Stephenie & Jason's Wedding

The much anticipated weekend finally arrived!

About a month ago Stephenie called and asked if Kaden could be a miniature groom in their wedding and I thoroughly explained that he would JUST barely be 2 and that I really couldn’t guarantee that he would be willing/able to do anything she asked him to do. I basically told her that it was very sweet of her to ask, but I was going to pretend the conversation didn’t happen and that she could fully-retract her proposal.

Less than a week later she called again and said that she really wanted him to participate in the wedding and that she found a 2T tux on clearance… What do you say?...

 We did the best we could with prepping him (ever try reasoning with a 2-year-old?) and crossed our fingers…

Posed pictures= stressful disaster.

BUT when it came down to walking down the isle, he did it (with much help from Megan & grandma).

After the wedding at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church we headed over to the
reception at the Holiday Inn Select for a full night of dinner and dancing. 
(Many of us stayed up until 3am dancing and having a blast!)

These are the ONLY pictures I have from the wedding thus far, and they were emailed from Kathy... Everyone in our family is actually dressed up and we didn't take ANY pictures!
