200-hour yoga training done…
What now?
My friend, Tammy, and I started talking about our intense summer of yoga over a bottle of wine... and decided to become yoga business partners. And decided it was still a good idea after the enthusiasm of the wine wore off.
Originally, we just wanted to teach good/authentic Ashtanga-based yoga on our own.
so of course we needed a name...
and some kind of partnership agreement…
and liability insurance…
and a space to teach/practice (that wouldn't take all of our money)…
and a way to find clients/customers… so business cards, Facebook, and a website?
… and this is when we discovered that there's a lot more to starting a business than just rolling out a yoga mat!
Needless to say, we have taken on a lot more than we had anticipated in the beginning,
but are still excited and grateful. And I must say that is is thrilling to have new people ask about our teaching and where they can come and practice with us.
So if you know anybody in the Amarillo area looking for good yoga instruction…
Namaste!
